A little late.

Sorry. I only realized that I hadn't written on here in FOREVER once I started complaining to a friend about people who have blogs and never update them. THAT WOULD BE ME IN THAT CATEGORY. So I thought I would give a little update on the kids and things that have been going on.
I have the house to toothless kids. Yup Evan is missing 90% of his teeth right now. Not sure how they all decided to come out the same time but they did. Lets just
say the tooth fairy is going bankrupt.

Scarlett has decided to follow in her brothers footsteps and lost her 1st tooth about 2 weeks ago. I really thought she was screwing around when she said her tooth was loose but she wasn't it was hanging sideways. She was so excited for her 1st visit from the
tooth fairy. Now that we have our teeth out of the way I will tell you a little bit about what is going on here.

Evan: He is growing into such a little man. He is so smart it kills me. He is in his last week of 1st grad
e. He has done wonderful. I am so proud of him. He is really into playing video games and bakugan. He is really good at reading matter of fact he is reading at a 5th grade level. How awesome is that. We recently redid his bedroom. He decided he was to GROWN up for planes and trains he needed something grown up. So he got it along with a new bed and he is pretty happy with it.

Scarlett: My dear sweet Scarlett. She certainly lives up to her name. DRAMA. She just finished up her last
class for dance. She has been taking tap and ballet for the past year. This is her 2nd year of ballet. She will be having her recital on Sunday. She is doing Boogy Shoes for tap and Music Box Dancer for ballet. She LOVES her dance. She is so creative. She makes up all these stories. She along with her 1 million imaginary friends go on many adventures. She is very excited about starting kindergarten in the fall.

Paisley: Little
Miss Paisley. She is almost 15 months old and She is really the funniest of them all. She has so much personality. She is a perfect mix of Evan and Scarlett. She loves to run around the house shaking her head and climbing on EVERYTHING. Her newest thing to do is makes sounds on your skin with her mouth. I am not sure what the name of it is but she loves to leave all the slobber on you. She is sleeping all night finally (knock on wood) But she still refuses to give up her bottles. Matter of fact she steals Declans when she gets the chance. She is a true daddy's girl. She follows him around everywhere.

Declan: My little baby. He is growing up so fast. It is hard to believe that he is 4 months old. Time goes by so
quickly. He is now rolling over. He laughs all the time. He is my little man. If I am near nobody else is there. I LOVE IT. Declan goes to bed at 730 every night and wakes up around 7am for a bottle and then goes back to sleep. Today I found him laying sideways in his crib. He was just laughing away. He was pretty impressed with himself.

Tommy has been busy working. He started a new job back in January that is very close to the house. He loves it. He is always working on the house.

I stay pretty busy with the kids and my blogs. I know I don't write on this one but I can't be super-woman or can I be.

We recently got rid of Wookie due to him not doing well with the new baby and then or little piggy died on mothers day. Poor Jar Jar. The kids miss them both dearly. But we are in the process of getting Chickens. Yest you read right we are getting chickens. Should be something new and exciting for us all.

Tommy and I have been busy planning our 1st family vacation with the kids. We are planning on taking them to Disney World. We have it book and the kids are very excite
d to go. We are even using it for them to do their chores. We have decided instead of giving them allowance we will give them gift cards to Disney World (OK I totally stole this from my friend Katie.) But hey they have been doing their chores with no complaints.

Well that is about it for me.
I hope you forgive me for not updating more but I will TRY to remind myself.

$100 for a piece of popcorn.

popcorn

I swear I am about to pay for the most expensive piece of popcorn. Yup you read it right $100. Now before you decide that I have completely lost it keep reading.

Last night I was sitting on the couch dying from a killer headache watching Ruby and Scarlett comes down.

Scarlett~ Mommy Evan has a piece of popcorn in his ear.

Me~ What the F do you mean he has a piece of popcorn in his is what I am thinking but what comes out is. Why does he have popcorn in his ear and why isn’t he down here.

Scarlett~ he is sleeping.

Me~ How is he sleeping with popcorn in his ear. Scarlett you better not be screwing around. Who put popcorn in his ear?

Scarlett~ *Atreyu did it. (See below who Atreyu is)

Me~Atreyu didn’t do it. Did you?

Scarlett~ No mommy Evan had it in his ear and then I put my finger in his ear to feel it.

Me~ CRAP

So I head upstairs to check out the popcorn crisis.

Sure enough Evan is laying there calmly pretending to be asleep.

Of course he blames Scarlett she blames him. Oh yeah it goes round and round.

I pull out my otoscope and look in his ear hoping I wouldn’t find a piece of popcorn but no such luck. (yes I have an otoscope I know I have issues.) There is not just 1 piece of popcorn but 2. Are you freaking kidding me.

So by then my husband is in the room freaking out and not helping matters. I decide it is to deep for me to get it out so my hubby gets the nose sucker out to try to suck it out. Nope. I call my mom to see if she can get it out. So my mom comes over takes a looks and says nope. CRAP…….I don’t want to go to the ER.

So off to the ER we go. Luckily it wasn’t busy at all nobody was there. They must have had their stupidity over the weekend. They take us right back the Dr comes in and looks in Evan’s ear and goes you better not be putting stuff in your ear again if I see you here again I am going to be very upset. So she irrigates his ear and the popcorn comes out. I go man I would like to have one of those things. (talking about the thing she irrigated his ear with) The Dr hands it to me and goes I didn’t just give this to you. (My kids tend to stick things in their ears this wasn’t our first trip for this)

So this morning Evan is whining about he is to tired to go to school I inform him that he is going to school because I am NOT writing a little like this

~Please excuse Evan from school on Monday. He was unable to attend due to us being at the ER because he stuck popcorn in his ear.

Thanks

Andrea

That just isn’t going to happen. So off to school he went.

So now not only do I have a good story for you I also have a $100 bill coming my way for a stupid piece of popcorn.

*Atreyu is 1 of Scarlett’s many imaginary friends. Atreyu is the guy from Never Ending story. Him and his horse live up stairs and get into all kinds of trouble.

Happy Birthday Paisley.

Wow I can’t believe she is already 1. Time has really flown by. Paisley is such a blessing to our life. I can’t wait to see what kind of young lady she grows into. Though I would like time to slow down so that we can cherish the younger years. Happy Birthday my sweet sweet Paisley. I love you.

Happy 5th birthday Scarlett

Wow

I can’t believe my little girl is 5 today. It is crazy how time flies and how much the kids change. It seams like yesterday we were living at my moms having just had her waiting for our new house to be built. 5 years later we are still waiting for that same house to be finished. HAHA. Scarlett has grown into such a sensitive caring young lady. I am so blessed to have her and all her 1 billion imaginary friends.

For the kids birthdays they get to choose their birthday dinner. What did Scarlett choose you ask. Spaghetti and meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and peas. She had ice cream and Hannah Montana cupcakes (it would have been something different but my choices were limited last night at Sams club.

Happy Birthday my sweet sweet Scarlett. I love you more each day and my life is richer having you in it.

Wow has it really been that long?

I hadn’t realized it had been that long since I had posted on here. Time really does fly by doesn’t it? We have been pretty busy with the kids, school, dr apts, being sick, the holidays and just living.

Evan had his school concert last week he was to cute. I took some video but we were back in nose bleed section and well you can’t even see him. He is doing great in school. He still isn’t being challenged enough but that will come I am sure. He has learned the art of how to get out of school. He got sick at school a couple weeks ago and quickly realized that if he complains of a tummy ache he can come home and doesn’t have to go to school. Tommy and I quickly caught onto this. Other than that he is anxiously waiting for Christmas. He so excited. He made the cutest wreathe at school yesterday and couldn’t wait for me to open it. I asked him if we could wait till Christmas and he told me NO and started opening it. It really is cute.

Scarlett is Scarlett. All drama. She has learned the art of snapping with attitude. I can’t seam to capture it on video. She will tell you something like. “I want to wear my red shoes” she will be moving her head, waving her arm and snapping at the same time. Think ghetto girl at the age of 4. She is pretty funny. She doesn’t always use it right but it is funny none the less. She is still doing tap and ballet. She LOVES it. She is really good at it. I keep wondering what style of dance she will really thrive at. I can’t wait to see what kind of dancer she turns out to be. She is still refusing to read. My mom even tried to bribe her with a doll house and Scarlett’s reply was why do I need that one I have it here and I have one at my house. Yup to smart. She is very excited about Christmas and her birthday. We are thinking it is a build a bear kind of year but we will see. You can ask her what she wants for either one and she replies. “I just want everything” this is while she is snapping her fingers. Scarlett also went to her 1st theater performance. My mom took her to see OZ. She loved it. The wicked witch scared her a little but he would have me to. He had blue hair. YES I said HE. She dressed up as Dorothy, took her basket and all. She had a blast. Now she calls Wookie, Toto.

Paisley is changing every day. She is so darn cute. She is of course feeding herself. She is sleeping thru the night mostly. She likes to wake up for about an hour around 10 and play and just spend time with Tommy and I. Paisley finally mastered the art of sitting up from laying down on her own last week. Then just today she started crawling forward. She has been going backwards for some time. The kids and the dogs have had it. She is starting to pull herself up. She has already taken a head dive to the floor the 1st of many I am sure. She has also mastered the love of Vera Bradley. She loves my purse. She has to carry one around the house with her. Or should I say drag it around the house. I guess I am going to have to get her one since I don’t want mine ruined. She is just so cute.

We had pictures of the kids taken over the weekend. I should have them sometime this week. When I get them I will post the for all to see.

Tommy and I have been the same. The baby is growing a lot and moving a lot. My dr says that he should be here mid January. He and the peds are keeping a close eye on the babies size since I tend to have big babies. We haven’t started on the nursery or on Paisley’s new room. Tommy is off all next week so we are going to start on it then. We are also still trying to finish up Christmas shopping. This year has been a slow year to get it done. The items that the kids are wanting are really hard to find, and really we just haven’t been in the mood for it but I guess this weekend we will finish up. Other than that nothing is new. I will really try to be better at updating more often I really just didn’t realize how much time had gone by.

Wookie Onion has been in our family for 1 yr.

Sorry it is a day late but I have good reason. I have been sick. Wow who would have thought that we have had dear ol Wookie Onion for 1 whole year. Wookie has been very entertaining to say the least. He barks at us for no reason. Pees on people when they come in (well not everyone just a few selected people.) Follows Tommy around everywhere. And vomits for no reason. But we love him in spite of his flaws. Yup that is good ol Wookie Onion. He isn't so little anymore. Check him out when we got him here .

Poor Poor Paisley...

Poor little Paisley. She just can't cut a break. She is all healed up from her eye surgery and now she has decided to cut not only her 3rd tooth, but her 4th also. She has been a real joy.

Comments are working.

Since I moved over to blogger I have been having issues with the comments. Basically there were none. So yesterday I finally figured it out. YEAH...they are finally up and working...I am probably the only one excited about it but hey why not.

Evan update.

Wow I can't leave him out. I just don't have any pictures.
Evan has been pretty busy with school. Tommy and I have been so pleased with the school that he is attending this year. I was pretty concerned since it was a school district that I didn't like. But I can honestly say he is thriving and I am so pleased with what he is learning every day. He amazes me with what he is learning.
The other day he came home and was telling us about the presidents. A 1st grader telling me what presidents are which one. CRAZY. He is counting to infinity. He is reading well above his other classmates. He is just thriving. He got his 1st interim report and did great. The only thing we need to work on is his handwriting. Other than that no complaints . His teacher said he is excelling. I am to thrilled with him.
Evan is no longer in his Karate class he didn't like it due to the fact he couldn't fight people. We tried to explain this to him before hand but he didn't get it. We are now considering putting him in some kind of music lessons. He asked for drum lessons yesterday I told him he had to be 15 for that one. I would love for him to play the violin but looks like guitar is what he wants. That is ok to. As long as he finds something that he loves.

Scarlett update

Scarlett has been a busy little girl.
She started dance a few weeks ago. We switched dance schools this year. We loved the one that we were at but this one is a tad bit closer and we can have her in 2 classes for about $7 more than the 1 class last year.
This year she is taking Tap and Ballet. She loves it. The first week of class she was a little resistant to do tap. We try very hard to keep her from stomping her feet. It was hard to get her to understand that this was alloud in Tap class. She understands now and is having a blast. They are doing the tap to the Disney Mania. So the music is right up her ally.
Scarlett has always loved ballet. She is just a natural at it. She walks on her tippies all the time so it just comes natural. They are teaching her the correct techniques to do and the correct words for it. She is just having a blast with dance. I am so glad that we have found her passion at least for now.

School on the other hand has been a bigger challenge. She wasn't doing well getting up that early and every day she went was a huge battle. Last Tuesday was the breaking point. She was throwing a fit when I put her in the car and then Tommy took her and she refused to get out of the car for him holding onto the door screaming. We decided at that poin when Tommy brought her back home that it wasn't worth it. So Scarlett is no longer in school and she will be getting her preschool from yours truely. She is doing really well. She has been having problems writing her name. But she finally has it down today. She kept forgeting the A in her name but now I have tons of papers that she has writen me today showing me that she knows how to correctly write her name and she is all to proud of her self as she should be.

Paisley update

Sorry it has been a little on the crazy side here. Paisley has been a tad bit fussy. Between cutting teeth, diarrhea, and tear duct surgery not much time for blogging here.
Paisley had her tear ducts opened on Friday. She had to have this done due to the fact that her tear ducts were completely closed. The Dr told me that this is hereditary. I had it. Evan had it (his opened on it's own) Scarlett had it (surgery for her) and now Paisley. She did very well. She was very fussy on Friday from it and her eyes were bleeding all day long. Yesterday it was a little better and today a little better than yesterday. Hopefully all the issues will be gone soon and she will be a happy little camper again.
The good news is that since it is hereditary and the chances of the next one having it as soon as I notice it I can call the eye dr and get it done ASAP. That way we don't have to wait the 6 months of dealing with her gross eyes.
Here are her before (the reason for the surgery) and then today. As you can tell it isn't all cleared up but much better.

And the sex of the baby is...

1st day of school

Scarlett had her 1st day of pre-school today. She was so excited. Last night she went and picked out her clothes and got her back pack all ready for school today. She had some issues waking up early this morning but thank goodness we didn't have to worry about getting Evan ready at the same time due to him being on a Fog delay.
Evan, Paisley and I all took her in for her 1st day. She was so excited. She had no problems leaving me. She actually wanted me to leave so she could go play with her new friends.
She came home all excited to have spent the morning making friends and playing. This week in school she is just getting used to everything going on. Next week they will start learning about apples. We have been working at home on her letters and her name. She is having some problems with her letters but it will come. I think she actually knows them she just likes to play like she doesn't.

Scarlett by the door where Evan takes his school picture every year

Paisley 6 months.

Can you believe it. Paisley is 6 months old. She is 1/2 a year...HOW DID THAT HAPPEN...Time has just really flown by. She is such a great little baby. I really couldn't have asked for a better one. She is smiling and laughing. Rolling over and attempting to scoot. Hopefully soon she will be crawling. She is still having problems sitting up on her own but with a head like hers I am sure it tends to topple you over LOL..
Since we have been such awful parents and haven't had time to take her to get pictures done we did some here at the house on our own. Hope you enjoy...

Evan's 1st day of the rest of his life.

My little boy started 1st grade today. I can't believe how time really does fly. It really seams like yesterday he was born. But 6 1/2 years later he left me to spend more time with somebody else. He was thrilled to go to school today. So much that he woke up at 5am. He is going to learn so much in the next 12 years of his life and this is just the beginning.
He is such big boy. He started a new school and to wanted to ride the bus on his very 1st day. His sister hasn't known what to do with herself today, other than follow me around asking when Evan is going to be home. It will be so exciting to see the paths that he chooses as he continues on with his education. Oh the places we shall go.

Busy Busy or just Lazy?

I didn't realize that it had been so long since I last did a blog. I swear I am much better at this...I have been pretty busy at least I think or I have been pretty lazy others may think. OH well.
We just returned from Tommy's sisters house. We went up there to celebrate my niece Sophia's 1st birthday. It was great to get away and share this special day with family. Christie did a part traditional Korean 1st birthday. With the tol table and Sophia wore her Tol-bok ( I always thought that it was called something different.) The party went well. The kids had a blast with their cousins playing. It was so nice to get away. I am sure Paisley didn't think so. She is just a child that doesn't likes to travel. She didn't sleep well the entire time we were gone. Needless to say I don't think we will be traveling with her for some time.
Paisley is growing like a weed. She is 5 months now. She is developing such a personality. She smiles and giggles all the time. She talks a lot. She is trying her best to move around it just isn't really happening to well. She is sleeping thru the night (when we are home and not traveling) She also got her ears pierced a few weeks ago.
We got some not so great news on Evan's school last week. We didn't get in. We were in open enrollment last year and were hoping we would be able to return to that school this year. But no such luck. We were declined due to the 1st grade class being to large. BOOOOOO...Right now I am not sure where we are going to go. I am not happy with any of the choices out there but I guess I have to choose soon.
Scarlett is ever so excited to be getting ready to start preschool. She has been talking about her new school friends (which she hasn't even been yet) She will be going 2 days a week. She can't wait. She is also getting ready to start a new year of dance. We are switching dance schools this year. She will be taking 2 dance classes. Ballet and tap. She loves dancing.
Everything else is going well. Please continue to pray from my family as decisions need to be made regarding my grandmother. Life has been difficult and it is wearing on all of my family.
Oh I forgot. I had an ultra sound 2 weeks ago. The baby is doing great. So we are still on trac for February.
Sorry there is no pictures. Somehow I managed to forget my camera this weekend. So I have to get some from my in-laws.
